We drew a party snail and she got a wind up kettle...

And we drew Mr Tumble and she got a wind up snail 🌞

Yes, that's right. I spend my wages on wind up toys for my little lady and we spend our days colouring together when we can ❤️ hope your having a good week :)

Chocolate cake

 

Sometimes when the world feels like it's too much, it's good to make a chocolate cake 🍫

Pink

I've been a bit naughty and bought some pink fabric for Emma's hexi quilt 🌸

It's almost neon pink which is unusual for vintage fabric so I nabbed it while I could...

I do need to get other colours for it, especially browns and oranges. But they aren't as fun to get as pink! 🌸 It's my favourite colour...

I wonder if I'll ever finish this quilt. I started making it about 3 years ago, it's hand sewn so it's taking forever. It's my never ending project but I love sewing it in the evenings. It will be a double size for Emma's bed one day. Wishing you a good weekend 🌸

I bought two cheap sketchbooks so me and Emma can try to draw each day together ❤️ it's our favourite thing to do together. Making stuff with my baby ❤️

Emma put on the sprinkles, her favourite past time :) they go everywhere! 

Terrible light but this is the hexi patchwork I'm making Emma. I do a little bit each night before bed...

All I want this year is to make life happy for Emma and to go on more walks together. To have time to bake and sew and keep going. I feel grateful for her and our health (touch wood). Wishing you a lovely new year ✨
