Sophie's pillow

I finally finished this cross stitch pillow for my best friends birthday 💝 It took forever but I'm so happy it's done and I hope she likes it. 

It's not perfect but I tried my best and it's the thought that counts hopefully. We are both turning 40 this month and so I wanted to make something special for her. Happy birthday to my dear friend 💝

We've been making some Easter decorations for the living room...

We've also been decorating some paper mache easter eggs. I'm going to fill one for E for her Easter treat 🌼

Rainbows

More butterfly cards 🦋

We have started making a paper mache basket for Easter 💛 

We're still ill and staying at home as the weather is very wet in the UK. 

I was walking home from work today and saw this beautiful rainbow 🌈 and then I wrote a few lines about it:

When your feeling really blue,

Sometimes a rainbow will show for you.

Red, orange, yellow, blue,

Then purple showing through.

The colours comfort you,

A spectrum of perfection,

In a moment, gone too soon.

Sometimes wherever you are in your life, nature can work wonders and bring the sunshine back 🌞 I'm going to draw more rainbows soon 🌈 hope you have a good weekend

Daffodils

Cards me and E made together recently for family 🦋 more butterflies and the sunshine 🌞

We're both a bit ill but poor E has been very poorly this week and ended up in hospital. Thank goodness for the NHS staff who so kindly sorted her out. She is now back home ❤️ she is recovering ❤️ she has two nasty viruses, poor little love

We are staying at home and colouring in together/watching some Disney films, perfect way to get better ❤️

We've noticed the daffodils are coming out. We spotted some on one of our walks together before.

I love daffodils. They are a celebration of spring to me. Joyful yellow bobbing heads, just beautiful 💛
