The death tarot card ☠️ I'm not happy with the ribs and hands but I have an ill toddler to look after so I'm not going to do it again. It's based on the design by Oswald Wirth. I'm sure this is very valentine's appropriate!

Brockenhurst

We were lucky enough to visit Brockenhurst again.

It's a beautiful walk, past the horses in the field, towards the woods and river. 

It's my favourite place in the UK. You can't bet the New Forest.

Well worth a visit 🌿

Blue

I've been feeling a bit blue lately, for different reasons. I won't go into it on here but I reckon I'm not alone, this time of year is hard on everyone. It's surviving winter... It's been so cold

So we've been keeping busy at home and made some play dough shapes...

I've bought some blue fabrics for the quilt as I was running out of shades of blue and brown.

I'm going to have to be more careful with money and will have to cut down on buying fabric which is hard to do (for me at least!)

Even though winter has felt hard, it makes me appreciate spring. I'm really looking forward to better weather and the flowers coming out again 🌼 we saw some snowdrops at the park...

I hope you are finding ways to get through winter and little ways to make it easier. I'm going to try to take more walks with my little girl and count my blessings, there's always things to be grateful for in life. And tomorrow is another day as they say 💙

Tarot cards

 

I've started making some tarot cards. Thet need a bit of work (I haven't done any figurative drawing for years) and I may start again but I thought it's something fun to do. 

I don't know if I'll get all of them done but it's been enjoyable so far and saving money not having to buy any 🌛 they are based on the designs of Oswald Wirth but I'm changing some of the details

And we drew Mr Tumble and she got a wind up snail 🌞

Yes, that's right. I spend my wages on wind up toys for my little lady and we spend our days colouring together when we can ❤️ hope your having a good week :)
