Beginning of April

All the magnolias have bloomed at once in the U.K 🌸

It's been raining all week but we finally went on a little walk to the park today, very wet out there.

Birthday mugs

My mum, dad, sister and best mate gave me Emma Bridgewater mugs for my birthday ❤️ 

It's so kind of them ❤️ I love EB mugs. Emma and I also made a mothers day card for my mum.

Just little things that have brought happiness lately ❤️ and mine and Emma's favourite walk in the cemetery. I switched off social media recently. I don't know if I'll go back. I want to feel more present in the world so I'm going to see how it goes.

Passing on the kindness

It's was my dear friend Soph's birthday recently ❤️ I've given her some of my fabric stash to start her own EPP quilt for her birthday. 

Pat from PrelovedReloved was kind enough to gift me a lot of fabric for Emma's quilt. And I thought it would be nice to pass on the kindness and give some to Soph ❤️ 

I hope she enjoys it as much as I have ❤️ happy birthday to my dear friend. We have know each other since nursury, I am so lucky to have her in my life ❤️

February

 The end of February...

We've been really ill these last few days with a sickness bug and we're still not better. I've felt really fed up with it all but there's always things to be grateful for. And today at the park with my little girl was lovely 🌞 wonderful sunshine.

Hope your weeks going ok, not long till the spring now. I can't wait for warmer weather and the flowers to return 🌸 

Albert's birthday

 Today we celebrated Albert's birthday 🎂 we made this card for him ❤️

I had to include a pic of the cake my sister made for her son, she is so good at baking. Her skills amaze me. It was so lovely to see them all again...

Happy birthday to my dear little nephew, I love you ❤️ what a privilege it is to be your Auntie, you are the sweetest boy in the world ❤️

Dolls house

I've wanted to get Emma a dolls house for her birthday this year. But they are very expensive so I've been saving up. So imagine how thrilled I was when Emma's grandma gave us her one!

It is so very kind of her and I am so grateful! I don't know who was more excited, mummy or Emma?! But she hasn't stopped playing with it since it's come home. She always says 'mummy let's play the dollies' ❤️ 

It will be treasured and I will keep it in the loft one day when Emma has grown out of it for her children ❤️ a family heirloom, thank you so much grandma ❤️
